Results of Fall Trotter Auction

On October 2, 2009 Moscow Stud Farm No. 1 held its traditional fall trotter auction in its riding hall. The day’s buyers included many celebrities of the equestrian world. Twenty-six of the 52 listed lots were sold for a total of RUB 2.5 million, making this one of the Moscow Stud Farm’s most successful auctions in recent years.

The auction’s top prices were commanded by the bay mare Floristka (RUB 140,000) and the black stallion Konsul (RUB 217,000).

Yearling Orlov and Russian Trotters foaled in 2008 were also on offer. According to the experts, all the horses showcased at the fall auction got high ratings. The organization of the auction was well received.

The Moscow Stud Farm’s regular auctions contribute to the development of national horse breeding and the preservation of traditional horse breeds in Russia and around the world.
