Equine Russia 2019

On 15 September 2019, the Orlov Trotter Championship was held at the Equine Russia equestrian exhibition organised by the Rosplemkonzavod Association, the Orlov Trotter Breeders and Owners Association, the All-Russian Research Institute of Horse Breeding and other institutions. For the first time in the history of such events, the prize pool was RUB 1 million.

More than 40 horses of various ages from different Russian regions were shown in the rings. Once again, the horses from Moscow Stud Farm No. 1 performed well in a number of nominations. Even though we believe that the judges were strict with our horses, the handsome grey Goroskop (Kanyuk – Girlanda), owned by Acron, was named the absolute Champion of the exhibition. Kolumb (Beresklet - Kovboyka), owned by E. Vasilyuk, was recognised as the best 3YO colt, and Flandria (Imperator – Filarmonia) was the best among older mares. Moscow Stud Farm No. 1 also took 1^st place in the team rating.
