Best 4-Year-Old Orlov Mares Participate in Traditional Prize at the Central Moscow Hippodrome

On the eve of WWII Victory Day, the Central Moscow Hippodrome hosted competitions for racehorses and trotters to win traditional and special-occasion prizes.

The best 4-year-old Orlov mares raced for the Chesmenka Stud Farm Prize, a major Orlov mare award. The race favourite Banduristka, foaled at Moscow Stud Farm No.1 (Kuplet – Bogema; driver Semen Pupko, coach Aleksey Grishin), was the fastest in the first round, and after two rounds she won the Oaks among the Orlovs.
