The All-Russian Equestrian Games of 2008 will be held April 29 – May 4 at the St. Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex. Participants will compete for the Russian show-jumping and dressage cups. CSI*** and CDI***/ CDI**/ CDIJ international competitions will be held.

The Games will include an expanded programme of horse shows, with the World Conquered by Horses equestrian show held in the main riding hall each evening. This will be the first time the Spanish Andalusia on Horseback equestrian show, staged by Angel Peralta, has visited Russia. There will also be an Icelandic horse show and driving performances.

This year the Moscow Stud Farm’s Russian troika will participate in shows at the All-Russian Equestrian Games, giving audiences a chance to see the glorious Orlov Trotter troika with Aleksandrit as fore horse driven by jockey Alexander Pankov, seven-time winner of the Russian Troika Championship.
